Based in Cardiff, Stepping Stones has rapidly built an excellent reputation for providing toys of the highest quality. Our product range provides an excellent variety of educational toys for children up to 12 years of age. These toys are divided into 6 learning categories which are vitally important in the development of key skills in our children. In addition to the six areas of learning categories, we also provide a wide selection of books, designer clothes and holidays through our association with one of the UK's leading travel operators.
All products comply with appropriate safety and consumer regulations. Toys comply with EC Toy Safety Regulations and where appropriate carry the CE mark. As a result you can be sure that your children have hours of fun whilst at the same time learning important new skills.
How to Find what you are looking for.
Product categories - Areas of Learning.
You can view the 6 areas of learning categories using the menu on the left of the screen, for example , if you select Language and Literacy you will be taken into this department where you will be able to see a summary of what is available for the different age groups. Alternatively click on the age group under the Language and Literacy menu heading and you will see the products available for the age group chosen.
Once you have clicked through to any of the six areas of learning you can immediately add products to your shopping basket or see more information or pictures of the product, by clicking on the picture or indicated text.
Product Search
You can search the Stepping Stones website using the "quick search" box at the top right hand corner of each page. Type the name or type of product you are looking for and then click on GO. The search results will then be shown and you will be able to view these items individually. For example if you are looking for a pirate game - type in pirates and any toys or books on the site associated with the word pirate will appear. Alternatively search on "fractions" and all toys or books on the site relating to this subject will be shown.
If you know what you are looking for then type in the product name - e.g "Snakes and Ladders" or "Pop to the Shops".
Shopping Basket
You can view and amend the contents of your shopping basket at anytime by clicking on the "View Basket" button at the top of the page.
Checkout
Once you have selected all of your products you will need to checkout by clicking on the "checkout" button at the top of the page. Once you have clicked on the checkout button you will receive an email confirming we have received your order. You will need to provide your credit card details via our secure server provider (Protx) to provide payment for the items. Once payment is received you will receive an email confirming successful payment completion.
If you do not wish to pay over the internet connection, you may print out your order and post to us with your credit card details or cheque payment. When completing the checkout process, you will be given the option to use this payment method and to print out the order form with the full contents of your shopping basket. Please then send the order form to:

Delivery
All in stock items will be dispatched the next day and should be received within 7 working days, during very busy periods or if a product is out of stock, despatch may be longer. We will inform you promptly if an item is delayed for any reason. Please note if you pay by cheque , your items will not be dispatched until your cheque has cleared.
Standard UK Delivery - For delivery in the UK and Northern Ireland postage and packing charges are £5.50 for all orders under £50. Orders over £50 are FREE, except certain large items where additional delivery charges are indicated.
We can ship to most overseas destinations. For non-mainland U.K. deliveries, including N. Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Republic of Ireland, we charge a £4.00 handling fee, plus postage at cost.
International Postage - For orders outside of the UK and Northern Ireland, including the Channel Islands, Isle of wight, Isle of Man and the Reuplic of Ireland we make a £6.50 handling charge plus the cost charged to us to mail to each destination. Postage is calculated on the basis of weight and the world zone delivered to. We will confirm the cost of posting by email prior to distribution to you.
Please be aware you will be responsible for any additional import fees and taxes, which may be occured. If you would like more information or have any queries about our delivery charges please email info@steppingstoneonline.co.uk.
Returns - Our guarantee
If for any reason you are unhappy with a product, return the item in it's original packaging within 30 days - in perfect conditiion - and we will refund or replace the item. This does not affect your statutory rights.
There is no need to contact us prior to returning an item, but please ensure that you provide your full name and address in the parcel when you return the item. Please note that you are responsible for any returned goods until they reach our store. We strongly advise that a proof of postage certificate be obtained when returning any part of your order. Free certificates can be obtained from the Post Office.
Please note that postage , packing and insurance are direct costs and canot be refunded. Please note the cost of posting any returned items is also your responsibility.
Returns or exchanges will be actioned as soon as possible.
